Qualifications
 

  • B.A. in English from the University of Kentucky

  • Relevant coursework: "Editing English Prose (ENG 405)" and "Style for Writers (ENG 301)" 

  • 5+ years of editing experience; 4+ years of editing professionally

  • Experience editing a wide range of materials, from blogs to social media content to instructional workbooks to poetry to dissertations

PROOFREADING

$30/hour

Professional proofreading: reviewing your finalized copy for grammatical errors, typing errors, and spelling errors. From event programs to dissertations to published books, I can help!

COPY EDITING

$35/hour

Professional copy editing: detailed, line-by-line editing of your work. I'll focus on sentence structure, clarity, grammar, consistency, spelling, and more.

DEVELOPMENTAL EDITING

$45/hour

Developmental editing: working with you in the early stages of your larger piece of writing, evaluating storyline (or argument/communication of message), flow, and structure.
